Reply commands

  • YES 4821 or CONFIRM 4821 confirms the exact shift tied to that four-digit code.
  • CANT 4821 requests release from the coded assignment. The app checks the current assignment and starts coverage when the request is still valid. Until your schedule updates, treat the shift as assigned. If the code is missing, wrong, or stale, it goes to coordinator review and stays assigned. You never need to give a reason.
  • SWAP, RESCHEDULE, or CHANGE asks for another day. The current shift stays assigned until a coordinator approves a change.
  • TAKE 7314 accepts the exact coded open shift when it is still available.
  • STOP stops volunteer texts to that number.
  • START begins a compliant re-enrollment flow after an opt-out. It does not bypass recorded consent.
  • HELP returns this help route and the confirmed public support contact when one is available.

The four-digit codes above are examples. Use the code printed in your own message. A bare YES, CANT, CONFIRM, or TAKE reply goes to review and never changes a shift.

CANCEL is reserved as a carrier opt-out alias. It is not the command for releasing a shift. Use CANT for a volunteer shift.

Ask a question

You can reply with a question in plain language. A free-text question goes to the private coordinator inbox for review. It does not confirm, release, or move an assignment automatically.

Public support contact

Monitored support email: jveldheer@spagr.org

Volunteer text line: (616) 699-6166

The text line is not active until carrier registration and the live-send review are complete. Until then, use the monitored email or the signed-in volunteer app.
